The Addicted Teen
There was once a high school student who was unhappy with himself and tried to find ways to fulfill that wish but he couldn't. He tried things like club or sports. He started getting into trouble and misbehaving. He was so unhappy that he began to take drugs. He thought that it would help make him feel happy, but it only made him feel worse. He began to become unhealthy. He wasn’t learning in school, as well as getting into trouble out of school. Once he would stop with the drugs he would feel sluggish and sick. His grades began to suffer from not being able to think straight. He finally decided to come to his parents for help. “Mom and Dad, I’m not sure what to do. I’m sorry but I have been taking drugs for the past month now.” “It’s okay, we are here for you. We will take you out to do rehab.”His parents responded comfortingly. “Thank you, Mom and Dad.” When the weekend began they took him to the place for rehab. The people there were very nice and supportive towards his health improving and him not doing drugs anymore. “Come on, you can do it! only a little bit longer.” The teen's parents said encouragingly. The teen continued to get better and after a couple months, he was back in good shape. His grades had improved, and he had finally felt happy. He knew that his family cared for him no matter how much he had done they still helped him come back and feel better. |
